Eshanth Wijesinghe holds a Degree in Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University, Australia and also a Degree of Master of Business Administration from Monash University Australia. He is also a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
Eshanth Wijesinghe started his career in 1995 as a Business Development Manager and subsequently he was promoted as a Director of Bartleet Produce Marketing. He was appointed as the Group Managing Director of Bartleet Group in the year 2014, the position he holds currently as a Board Director of the parent Company, Bartleet & Co, whilst holding the Directorship of Subsidiary Companies of the Bartleet Group.
Eshanth Wijesinghe was a Board Member of Transparency International Sri Lanka, the collective advocacy for accountability systems for political / public / Private / community sector to understand and resist corruption.
His passion and belief in giving back to the community is seen in the entire operation of the Bartleet Group as “To Connect. To Build” purpose is transforming lives every day. Eshanth Wijesinghe is Chairman of Bartleet Macklai Roy, Sri Lanka’s first money broking company.
He was a past Board Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID), the authoritative focal point on boardroom governance in Sri Lanka.
